SHOP ASSISTANT (FRIDAYS AND SATURDAYS) AT BLOOMING FRUITY – BANKS PARADE, HADDENHAM

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic person with excellent customer service and retail sales skills, who has the ability to work well under pressure, to help with the efficient running of our busy community shop on Fridays and Saturdays.

THE JOB

Your primary role will be to serve customers in a confident and friendly manner, deal with deliveries (which involves some heavy lifting), replenish, promote and display product lines to maximise sales, ensure a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in the shop, deal with stock rotation and provide an excellent service to our customers.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Ideally, you will have experience of working in a retail environment, with cash handling and EPOS/till experience, demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills, work well in a team and remain calm under pressure. Training will be given on the shop’s EPOS system.

You will work with other staff members and volunteers and will report to the Shop Manager. This will be a busy but enjoyable role that requires the ability to manage a range of responsibilities.

The role is 10 hours per week worked on Fridays and Saturdays. There is some flexibility regarding the timings of the hours to be worked. Please email us to discuss further.
